We are currently looking to fill the role of a Farm Store Team Member to help us deliver the best possible farm experience that we possibly can to our guests! 

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, react well under pressure, be friendly, courteous, responsible, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and be well organized. We are seeking team players who will pitch in to help us deliver on our top-notch customer service goals!

Responsibilities

·Provide excellent customer service for a fast-paced retail/cafe/event venue

· Operate POS system/handle cash

· Receive deliveries, price, inventory and stock merchandise

· Field high-volume customer inquiries and calls in a professional and courteous manner

· Assist managers in various areas including front counter/register, coffee/donuts, CSA, produce, and baking.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends
• Available to work 20-40+ hours a week depending on season
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule
• Possess  technological proficiency to operate store POS 
• Have a reliable form of transportation
• Possess a desire to work in a small-scale agricultural business
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Must be able to provide two references
• Must submit a completed resume

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Harvest Moon Farm &  Orchard is a family owned and operated farm & orchard located in North Salem, NY. We boast 65 acres of farmland where we produce an array of fruits and vegetables that we sell directly to patrons in our year-round farm market, through our robust 170+ member CSA and our PYO events. We grow a large portion of the produce we sell in our market right here on our Farm. We also sell our own pasture raised grass-fed meats, local cheeses and baked good including pies and fresh donuts. Each fall, we welcome thousands of guests for a fun-filled, family-oriented farm experience that includes apple picking in our scenic orchard, a visit to our pumpkin patch, live country music, wagon rides and outdoor BBQ!
